Getting Started

What's the difference between Learn It and Leave It?

Every service I offer can be delivered two ways.

Learn It means I guide you through the process. You make the decisions, understand how things work, and build the skills to manage things yourself going forward.

Leave It means I handle everything for you. You tell me what you need, and I take care of it — no learning curve required.

Some clients choose one mode and stick with it. Others switch depending on the situation. Either way works.

How do I know which service is right for me?

Ask yourself: do I want to understand how this works, or do I just want it handled?

If you’re curious and want to build skills, choose Learn It. If you’re pressed for time or simply don’t care to learn the details, choose Leave It.

Still unsure? Book a free consultation and I’ll help you figure it out.

Do I need any prior tech experience?

None at all. I work with people at every experience level — from complete beginners to people who are tech-comfortable but just need specific help. No jargon, no judgment, just practical support at your pace.

Working Together

What happens during a free consultation?

We talk through what you’re dealing with, what you’ve tried, and what outcome you’re looking for. I’ll recommend the right service and delivery mode for your situation. No pressure, no commitment — just a useful conversation.

How do sessions work — in-person or remote?

Both options are available. In-person sessions are available in Forest Hills, Queens and surrounding neighborhoods. Remote sessions are available anywhere via secure video call and screen sharing.

Many clients find remote sessions work just as well — you don’t need to leave home.

What should I bring or prepare?

Just your device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop) and any questions you have. For Leave It engagements, I’ll let you know in advance if anything specific is needed. I handle the rest.

Payment terms vary by service and will be outlined in your project agreement.

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least 3–5 days in advance is recommended, though I can often accommodate shorter notice. For urgent needs, reach out — I may be able to help sooner.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee. For project-based work, terms are outlined in your agreement.

Trust and Privacy

How do I know my data is safe?

I take privacy and security seriously. I never access accounts or files without your explicit permission. Your data stays yours — I don’t copy, share, or retain anything. All remote sessions use secure, encrypted connections.

My background includes 20+ years in banking and financial services technology risk management, including roles as a Technology Risk Director at major financial institutions. I hold a CRISC certification (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control). I follow the same security practices I implemented at enterprise level.

How do you use AI — and how does that affect me?

I use AI-assisted tools as part of my professional process. Every deliverable is directed, reviewed, and approved by me before it reaches you — AI supports the work, it doesn’t replace the expertise behind it.

A few specifics:

  • I never give AI tools access to your accounts or your devices.
  • I review every client-facing material myself before it reaches you.
  • When I use an AI notetaker (Fireflies) on a call, the notes are for my own use and are never shared. In Focus-tier sessions I don’t record by default — I record only if you ask me to. In Master-tier sessions I’ll always ask first.
What if you can't solve my problem?

I’ll tell you upfront. If something requires specialized expertise outside my scope (like hardware repair), I’ll let you know before we start and can point you toward qualified help. Your trust matters more than any single engagement.
