About Digital Life Essentials

Digital Life Essentials (“DLE”) provides website, resume, organization, Empire Building, and Tech Learning & Instruction services. DLE is a single-member LLC based in Forest Hills, Queens, New York.

This policy explains what information DLE collects when you visit www.digitallifeessentials.com, contact DLE, book a consultation, or use DLE’s services, and how DLE handles it. Questions can go to Hello@DigitalLifeEssentials.com.

Information collected

When you book a consultation. DLE’s booking takes your name and email address, and optionally your phone number. On the general consultation, you can also tell DLE, in your own words, what you would like to talk through. DLE also records the date, time, and time zone of the booking.

When you complete a service intake form. After booking, you may be asked a few short questions specific to the service you are interested in, so DLE can prepare. These are mostly multiple choice, with a few open-text questions. Identity details are not re-collected at this step.

When you reach out. The contact form collects your name, email address, and message.

During services. To do the work, you may share materials with DLE, such as your resume and career history for resume services, or files and access for website and organization work. DLE uses these only to deliver the service you hired DLE for, and does not use your materials for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Information collected automatically. DLE does not use analytics or visitor-tracking on this site. Like most websites, DLE’s hosting provider may record standard technical information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site.

DLE designs intake forms to collect only what is needed, and these forms never ask for sensitive information such as financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or passwords.

Sensitive information and payments

DLE treats certain information as sensitive, including payment card data, government ID numbers, voice recordings, and account credentials, and applies heightened protection to it.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are handled by Stripe. DLE does not store your card details, and payment information never passes through DLE’s intake forms, automation, or email.

Session recordings

If DLE records a consultation or working session, DLE records audio only and never video, and asks for your consent first. Recordings are used to produce notes and summaries, are stored internally, and are deleted once the transcript and summary are filed. DLE does not keep a recording beyond that without your explicit written consent.

How your information is used

DLE uses the information collected to:

  • Respond to your questions and consultation requests
  • Prepare for and deliver the services you hired DLE for
  • Communicate with you about your booking or engagement
  • Meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

DLE does not sell your personal information.

DLE does not currently send marketing or newsletter emails. If DLE introduces them, DLE will ask for your consent first and include a way to unsubscribe in every message.

Some pages embed third-party tools for booking and forms, and those tools may set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies.
